Replacement & Expansion Panels
Individual panels: all tank types
Original-spec panels and field crews for repairing leaks, replacing corroded sections, or adding capacity to any brand of modular panel tank: without taking the system offline longer than necessary.

Original panels for tank repair, capacity expansion, or color upgrade. Available in GRP fiberglass, hot-dip galvanized steel, and painted sprayed steel in multiple colors (red for fire reserve, black, custom RAL).
All tanks WRAS-certified. Custom capacities and configurations available.
Three reasons clients call us for panel work
- 01.A leak appeared at a panel joint or corner: the original installer is unreachable or out of business.
- 02.Corroded or algae-stained panels have reduced water quality and failed the latest health inspection.
- 03.The building added two floors and the existing tank can no longer meet peak demand: expansion is cheaper than full replacement.
We work on any brand of SMC / GRP / FRP / HDG panel tank, not just tanks we installed. If you have the original tank dimensions, we can match the panel spec.
What a panel replacement job covers
| Scope | What we do |
|---|---|
| Leak investigation | Drain, inspect joints, identify cracked or delaminated panels and failed gaskets. |
| Panel matching | Match original panel dimensions (600 mm, 1 000 mm, or 1 200 mm module) and material grade. |
| Gasket replacement | All disturbed joints get new food-grade EPDM or NBR gaskets: never reused. |
| Bolt torque check | Retorque all stainless tie-rod nuts to spec; replace corroded fasteners. |
| Interior coating (HDG only) | Touch-up epoxy coat on exposed bare steel where zinc has worn through. |
| Pressure test | Refill and hold at operating head for 24 h before handing back. |
| Documentation | As-built sketch, replaced-panel count, water quality test result: provided on request. |
How a panel swap works: 8 steps
- 01.Site visit: measure current tank, photograph damage, confirm panel module size and material.
- 02.Quotation: itemized: panels, gaskets, fasteners, labor, crane hire if needed.
- 03.Panel fabrication: matched to original spec; standard lead is 5–7 working days for GRP/FRP, 3–5 days for HDG.
- 04.Scheduling: we coordinate drain-down with your building manager to minimise service interruption.
- 05.Drain and dewater: pump out to a safe level; confined-space entry procedures applied.
- 06.Panel removal and replacement: damaged panels out, new panels in, fresh gaskets on every disturbed joint.
- 07.Torque and seal check: visual inspection plus torque wrench on all fasteners.
- 08.Refill and test: 24-hour hold, water sample if requested, sign-off sheet provided.
Most single-wall panel replacements (1–4 panels) are completed in one working day. Full-wall replacements on large tanks (200 m³+) typically require two days. We schedule around your reserve tank or off-peak period.
Expanding an existing tank
Modular panel tanks are designed to grow. If your current tank is a standard module size, we can add a bay: effectively lengthening the footprint: or add a full second chamber running parallel and manifolded to the first.
Expansion requires confirming the existing base pad can carry the additional load, and that the inlet/outlet pipework can be re-routed. We assess this on the site visit and quote the civil works if needed.
If expansion is not feasible (site constraints, pad limitations), we will tell you clearly and quote a full replacement instead.
Tank brands we have serviced
- Bestank (GRP and HDG panel tanks)
- Sungil (SMC panel tanks)
- Pipeco (FRP tanks)
- AquaCube (GRP modular)
- Unnamed or locally fabricated HDG tanks: as long as panel dimensions are determinable
Replacement panels carry the same 10-year material warranty as new installations. Labor warranty on the replaced section is 12 months from sign-off.
Replacement & Expansion: Frequently Asked Questions
Can you replace panels without fully draining the tank?
Partial drain-down is possible for single-panel repairs on the upper half of the tank. Full replacement of bottom or corner panels requires full drain. We advise which applies after the site visit.
How do I know if my tank needs panels or a full replacement?
If more than 30–40% of panels show delamination, heavy pitting, or structural cracking, a full replacement is usually more cost-effective than piecemeal repair. We give you an honest assessment with photos.
Do replacement panels match the original colour?
GRP/FRP panels are typically grey or off-white and match closely. HDG is zinc-coated silver regardless of age: some patina difference is normal. Colour is not a structural concern.
Is there a minimum job size?
We do single-panel replacements. Minimum quotation is one panel plus associated gaskets and fasteners. Mobilisation cost for a single panel in Metro Manila is typically ₱3,500–₱5,000.
Can you expand a tank that you did not originally install?
Yes, provided we can verify the existing panel module size and base pad capacity. A short site visit is required before we quote.
Pair it with
Replacement work is often triggered by a pump failure that caused the tank to run dry and overheat the panels. If your pump also needs attention, we can quote both together.
